### Databricks named as Leader in Gartner® Magic Quadrant™

In the 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Data Science and Machine Learning Platforms, **Databricks** has once again been named a **Leader**, ranking **highest in Ability to Execute** and **furthest in Completeness of Vision**.

What does this mean? On the axis **Ability to Execute**, vendors were scored according to seven criteria: Product/Service, Overall Viability, Sales Execution/Pricing, Market Responsiveness and Track Record, Marketing Execution, Customer Experience, Operations. For **Completeness of Vision**, vendors competed across eight main criteria: Market Understanding, Marketing Strategy, Sales Strategy, Offering (Product) Strategy, Business Model, Vertical/Industry Strategy, Innovation, and Geographic Strategy.

Across all criteria, Databricks emerged on top of both axes, rendering them a market leader with sophisticated, focused strategies (both at the company and platform level) that effectively integrate GenAI and AI agents to deliver measurable business value. They identify and act on opportunities to use intelligent agents that others may overlook, often going beyond standard capabilities through significant investment. Their ability to innovate rapidly sets them apart from competitors. Moreover, Databricks clearly communicate the value they bring to the diverse range of users involved in developing data science and machine learning models.
